John & Becki Almeida
We’re honored to welcome John and Becki Almeida as chairs for the 2025 Tinsel & Tidings—a night of celebration, connection, and heartfelt giving.
The Almeidas’ relationship with the B.E. Smith Family Center began when Becki worked at AdventHealth and their daughter, Sara, was enrolled in Early Learning. Over the years, their family experienced the Center’s mission in action: compassion, inclusion, and a deep commitment to helping every child thrive.
They watched the Center grow from its original location at Shawnee Mission Medical Center into the bright, purpose-built space it is today. Home to both Britain Development and Early Learning, the Center offers integrated therapies and inclusive education—creating a true hub of hope for families across the region.
Now, John and Becki are giving back to the place that gave their daughters such a strong start. John is owner and partner of MedDevelopment, LLC, a healthcare real estate firm. Becki serves as the team’s administrative assistant. Together, they bring their gratitude, energy, and generosity to this year’s event—helping more children shine.
